Terms & Conditions

Company Name: Sparkle My Castle

Thank you for choosing Sparkle My Castle! We’re committed to providing premium cleaning services with professionalism, care, and clear communication. Please review the policies below to ensure a smooth and respectful working relationship.

Booking & Deposits
To confirm a first-time cleaning appointment with Sparkle My Castle, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is refundable if you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice.

Hours of Operation
Our support team is available during the following hours:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Messages received after hours will be returned on the next business day.

Holiday Closures
Sparkle My Castle observes the following holidays and will not operate on these days:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day (July 4th)
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day

If your cleaning falls on one of these days, please contact us at least two weeks ahead to reschedule.

Home Access Policy
We ask that our team has access to your home on the scheduled day. If we arrive and cannot enter, a 100% service fee will be charged.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations with less than 24 business hours' notice: 50% of the total service fee
  • Same-day cancellations: 100% charge

We understand that plans change and will do our best to be accommodating when possible.

Health & Safety Guidelines
If anyone in your household is feeling unwell, please notify Sparkle My Castle ahead of time. To keep everyone safe, we encourage mask usage if symptoms of contagious illness are present during our visit.

Safety Inside Your Home

  • All firearms or dangerous items must be securely stored during our visit.
  • Please keep children and pets away from the cleaning area.
  • Avoid using stoves or hot appliances right before our team arrives.
  • Sharp or medical items should be placed in puncture-proof containers.

Pet Policy
We’re pet lovers at Sparkle My Castle, but for safety, please secure pets that may be territorial or reactive.
Note: We do not clean pet waste or urine accidents.

Damages & Breakage
We treat your home with care, but accidents can happen.

  • We are not responsible for items that are already unstable, unsecured, or fragile.
  • Please move fragile valuables out of cleaning areas or ask us to skip those spots.
  • Damages must be reported within 24 hours for consideration.
  • Items over $25 in value may require proof of cost for reimbursement.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of service.
  • Late payments will incur a $10 fee after 5 days, plus $1/day thereafter.
  • Returned checks will be subject to a $35 fee.
  • Unpaid invoices over 45 days will be sent to collections, and you will be responsible for all associated costs.

Payment Options
Sparkle My Castle accepts the following:

  • Credit/Debit Cards via QuickBooks – 2.99% processing fee
  • Zelle – Send to Zelle  (no fee)
  • Cash or Check – No transaction fees

As of July 1, 2024, we no longer accept Venmo or Apple Pay directly. All digital payments are now processed via QuickBooks.

Rate Adjustments
To keep up with market trends and rising costs, Sparkle My Castle reserves the right to adjust pricing annually. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

Before We Arrive
We don’t expect you to clean before we come, but please tidy up personal items to help us focus on deep cleaning.

We do not provide:

  • Dishwashing
  • Laundry services
  • Garage cleanouts
  • Organizing or moving personal belongings

Arrival Windows & Delays
We aim to be punctual, but traffic or unforeseen events may cause delays. We’ll always communicate with you if anything affects your scheduled appointment time.

Satisfaction Guarantee
If you’re not fully happy with a cleaning, let us know within 24 hours, and we’ll return to address it—at no cost to you.
Note: We do not offer refunds or discounts after the 24-hour correction window.

Referral Rewards
Love our work? Refer us to friends or family and earn 15% off your next regular cleaning when your referral becomes a recurring customer.

At Sparkle My Castle, your satisfaction is our top priority. We stand behind the quality of our cleaning services and aim to exceed expectations with every visit.

Service Satisfaction Guarantee

If you're not satisfied with the quality of your cleaning, we want to make it right.

  • Please notify us within 24 hours of your service if anything was missed or if you're unhappy with any part of the cleaning.
  • We will schedule a free re-clean of the affected areas at the earliest possible time.
  • This re-cleaning service is provided at no additional cost to you.

Note: We do not offer monetary refunds for completed services. Our commitment is to correct the issue through a re-clean.
 

Refund Eligibility (Deposits & Prepaid Services)

  • Deposits for first-time or deep cleaning services are refundable if canceled with at least 24 hours' notice.
  • If you cancel your service within 24 business hours or same-day, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • For prepaid packages (e.g., recurring cleanings), refunds for unused services can be issued minus any applicable discounts or completed service charges.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or re-cleans may be declined under the following conditions:

  • You did not notify us of issues within 24 hours of service
  • The dissatisfaction is based on services not included in your selected package (e.g., dishwashing, laundry, pet accidents)
  • We were unable to access your home due to a lockout or no-show
  • Health or safety hazards prevented our team from completing the work
